The good old days, uncomplicated and adventurous, play like a motion picture in my mind. In the recollection of this treasure chest of memories, we often bring an element of fantasy. This song is an innocent memory excavation of rich scenes, full of what I call ‘Huck Finn’ moments: a day exploring in the woods, running through a meadow, meeting friends down by the river. These were the days of riverbank parties with the tantalizing smells of a barbecue, music playing from the boom-box, or sometimes a live band on a tractor-trailer-bed at the edge of the meadow.
